Our Mission
To enable inner-city youth to discover their talents and exercise them in a real world business environment through technology, trade training and career development.
Our Project
BAYM's Industrial Youth Center is a 30,000 square foot former factory complex that houses technology based training programs for young people ages 14 - 19.
Vision for the Future
BAYM's future looks bright. Our vision is to create a state-of-the-art, three building, multi-use trade and technology center where young people can experience a variety of possible career paths. To facilitate this endeavor, our short term goals include the following:
- Initiate the renovation of our second building
- Develop IT service contracts to expand training and employment opportunities for young people
- Provide training for adults
- Provide specially designed training for businesses
